The user can not specify a scan resolution or PDF output size.

Need to add a Size sub-menu to the Options menu with standard paper sizes (Letter, A4, etc). These values need to be "prescreened" by comparing their pixel size to the available scanner resolutions. When a document is saved the output size of the PDF should perfectly match the size of the page that was scanned.

This is nominally supported as the result of four commits on March 31st, starting with 2cf2e8cac843cd550abb6e403cd83735fecd9c14. However, due to the huge scope of this task there are bound to be many straggling issues which shall be reintroduced as separate tickets.
