It should be possible to blacklist a device that is not supported.

Some webcams and other devices show up as valid SANE devices, but can not have images pulled from them in the standard way. These devices can not be known in advance so whenever a device raises an exception the user should have the option to put it on a Scanner Blacklist. Devices on this list should not show in the list of available scanners.
The Preferences dialog should contain a list of blacklisted devices so that they can be easily de-blacklisted.
